I’m Dylan Watts, a guitarist and independent developer. I launched Watts Audio in November 2024 alongside my first release, The Sultan Amp.

The project began as something I built for myself. I was chasing the Mark Knopfler tone, but getting there often meant stacking multiple plugins and endless tweaking. I also noticed a lot of players were confused about how to achieve this tone, so I wanted to create something simple and easy to use. That became The Sultan Amp.

I share demos of the plugin on my social channels under the handle @dylanwattsguitar, where I create guitar content for an audience of over 400k across Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok. My focus with Watts Audio is simple: to keep developing high-quality plugins that capture sought-after guitar tones in a form that’s straightforward and precise.
